We had lunch at this small ristorante after a hike in the local mountains. The service was outstanding and the food was very good. We were able to speak in both French and English with the server who did an excellent job of communicating to us the menu.

I had the gnocchi with mushrooms and the to die for caramelized vanilla ice cream and Jo Ann had the salad with lardons and the tiramisu. We also had a glass of the ristorante’s local wine which was also very good.

The server told us that the ristorante as been in the family for over 50 years and the pride of ownership clearly shows.

After lunch the server suggested that we visit the special events area and the wine shop, which is an attached building from the 15th century. Amazing architecture and the fresco ceiling art was beautiful. Make sure you ask to see this area.
